Overview

RW12 series drop-out fuses are outdoor high-voltage protection appliances in power transmission and distribution systems. They are installed on the high-voltage side of distribution transformers or branch lines of distribution lines for short-circuit and overload protection of transformers and lines, as well as for shunting and combining load currents. The high-voltage ceramic drop-out fuse consists of a ceramic insulating bracket and a fuse tube. The static contacts are installed at both ends of the insulating bracket, and the moving contacts are installed at both ends of the fuse tube. The fuse tube consists of an inner arc suppression tube and a fuse tube. The outer layer is composed of phenolic paper tube or epoxy glass cloth tube.

Features

Melting tube structure:
The fuse is made of flberglsaa, which is moisture and corrosion resistant.
Fuse base:
The product base is embedded with mechanical structures and insulators. The metal rod mechanism is installed with special adhesive material and insulator, which can withstand short circuit current to turn on the power.
Moisture-proof fuse has no bubbles, no deformation, no open circuit, large capacity, anti-ultraviolet, long life, superior electrical properties, dielectric strength and excellent mechanical rigidity and dedication ability.
The whole mechanism is neutral, easy to install, safe and reliable.

Installation of drop-out fuses

(1) The melt should be tightened during installation (so that the melt can withstand a tensile force of about 24.5N), otherwise it is easy to cause the contacts to overheat.
(2) The fuse installed on the cross arm (frame) should be firm and reliable, and there should be no shaking or shaking.
(3) The melting tube should have a downward inclination angle of 25°±2°, so that the melting tube can quickly fall down by its own weight when blowing out the melt.
(4) The fuse should be installed on the cross arm (frame) with a vertical distance of not less than 4m from the ground. If it is installed above the distribution transformer, it should maintain a horizontal distance of more than 0.5m from the outer contour boundary of the distribution transformer. The fall of the molten tube led to other accidents.
(5) The length of the fuse should be adjusted appropriately. It is required that the duckbill can maintain more than two-thirds of the length of the contact after closing, so as to avoid self-falling misoperation during operation, and the fuse tube must not hit the duckbill. , to prevent the melting tube from falling off in time after the melt is blown out.
(6) The melt used must be a standard product of a regular manufacturer and have a certain mechanical strength. It is generally required that the melt can withstand a tensile force above 147N.
(7) 10kV drop-out fuses are installed outdoors, and the distance is required to be greater than 70cm.
